Writing
Writing is another creative outlet for me and I use it to share my perspective on different subjects.
This essay shares my journey of discovering a love for video editing, starting with making gaming videos in high school and growing into filming and editing projects at UNK. I talk about how working in the communications department and collaborating with friends helped me learn new skills, gain confidence, and explore storytelling through video. It also shows how my passion is guiding me toward a future career as a videographer or cinematographer, and how I hope to use my skills to create, share, and inspire others.
This essay looks at how technology affects young kids, both the good and the bad. I explored how too much screen time can affect their thinking, sleep, social skills, and self-esteem, but also how technology can help them learn, be creative, and stay connected with others. I highlighted the importance of finding a balance, setting limits, and teaching kids to use technology in a healthy way.
